During its 15 years of experience, USIMM worked with a multitude of the industry’s key players. Here are testimonials by some of our collaborators.
My major concern was being able to get parts to the foundry on time. By using the 3D scanner technology and custom machining, and always according to my demands, USIMM shortened the delivery time for my parts considerably—giving me more time to focus on the artistic aspect of the project. The parts therefore got to the foundry on time.
Their personalized and professional 3D digitization and machining services saved me a lot of time on the project.
This was the first large-dimension project I’ve carried out, and USIMM’s expertise was a great help in opening up the possibilities to me for future monumental works.

SCULPTOR AND MOLDER
A partnership has grown between us in the past three years, through USIMM’s contributions to my projects, whether individual or with other artists and corporate and institutional clients.
In that short time, Michel and his team have helped us accomplish an impressive number of projects through their 3D digitization and machining services with different materials. Several projects could not have happened without their participation, given the very short deadlines imposed on us.
One of USIMM’s strengths is clearly its speed of execution in projects requiring object resizing compared to the manual work we have to do in preparing the original form. We can then work very quickly on the surface modeling and make volume adjustments to the form received in polystyrene or other materials. We have always been very appreciative of the company’s flexibility with regard to our various needs.
Among our projects in cooperation with USIMM are the sculptures “Guy Lafleur” in Thurso, by designer Jean-Raymond Goyer (sculptors Jules Lasalle and Annick Bourgeau; 2013), “Tribute to Women in Politics” at Quebec’s National Assembly (sculptor Jules Lasalle in cooperation with Annick Bourgeau; 2012), the “Louis-Joseph Papineau Memorial” in St-Denis-sur-Richelieu (sculptors Jules Lasalle and Annick Bourgeau; 2012), and “The Eye” at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (sculptor David Altmejd; 2011).
Above all, I look forward to developing new common approaches for our future projects. Thank you to the entire team!
